Most of the people think that art and painting are for some special, very talented people individuals with extraordinary gifts. who are gifted and very talented. Therefore, for most of us, painting and art for them finishes at primary, school age. Other people think that they have no or any skills and or talent for art. They do not believe they could paint at all. So they never try it.
The truth is that every one of us has creative abilities, but they are might not be cultivated. So That is why, a colleague of mine, Nina Atanasova, and I decided to prove this truth.
We started organizing art lessons called “Art Weekends”, These “Art weekends” which are designed for people who have the desire to try something new and different. People Those, who were brave enough to join us, would plunge into a new, different reality, experiencing of the creative process. They start to observe the world around them from a different perspective and start learn to interpret reality in a way that they never did before.
How do we start conduct our art a lessons?
First, we start in good spirit and adjustments of thinking – “I want to try. I can do it”. Second, we continue with explanation about teach how to start drawing, how to mix oil paints, and how to put them on the canvas. Finally, we encourage people to create something special and magical, and the results are fantastic. At the end, everybody always says, “I never thought that it would be that much fun”. “It is wonderful! How is that possible?” People are so proud and happy with their first oil paintings.
At our lessons, we have people from different ages and professions: economists, businessmen, bank officials, IT specialists, students, children, and housewives.
Most people like this kind of art lessons so much that they come again back and paint with us regularly.
